The modular platform protects your investment by allowing you to buy only what you need now and in the future, with no hidden management fees. As your needs and budget dictate, upgrade to enterprise-class, dual-port SAS drives. To coincide with ProLiant Gen10 Servers, the HPE D3610 and HPE D3710 use the Gen10 branding and industrial design. The HPE D3600 and Gen10 branded HPE D3610 LFF can hold up to 96 drives and are designed to expand as your storage needs grow. A single controller port can support up to eight HPE D3600 or HPE D3610 LFF enclosures. From a single controller port, the HPE D3700 and Gen10 branded HPE D3710 SFF can support up to 200 disks or eight SFF enclosures. Smart Array Controllers allow you to mix D3600 or D3610 enclosures with D3700 or D3710 enclosures for expansion. Up to 148 drives can be added by using four D3600 or D3610 drives and four D3700 or D3710 drives (4x LFF and 4x SFF). All HPE D3000 models support up to 25 solid-state drives per Smart Array Controller. Simple to Control The HPE SmartDrive Carrier, which enables a single set of common drives for Gen8, Gen9, and Gen10 ProLiant servers and D3000 Enclosures, is supported by the HPE D3000 Enclosures. The HPE D3000 Enclosures employ HPE ProLiant management software such as HPE Systems Insight Manager and HPE Array Configuration Utility (ACU). HPE Smart Array SAS Controllers and HBAs are compatible with the HPE D3000 Enclosures. The enclosures may be managed with little IT knowledge.
