The SF314-42, like its predecessor, sports a thin and attractive metal case. Acer has chosen a matte silver finish for the chassis, which is contrasted with a black plastic display frame. Throughout, Acer has employed smooth surfaces. However, because there is no maintenance hatch, accessing the machine's interior components necessitates disassembly. The Swift 3 does, however, have a full-sized HDMI port and a power connector, giving it two charging and video outputs. There is no memory card reader on the laptop. The Swift 3 is equipped with an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 modem, which supports both the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and the newer ax standards. In addition, the AX200 has Bluetooth 5.0 capability. The table below depicts ideal Wi-Fi settings with no other Wi-Fi devices in the way of our review unit and router. We also put the laptop and router in close proximity. Acer has also included a 720p webcam with the Swift 3. The end product is a little washed out and lacks color accuracy. With a Delta E deviation of a little about 12, the Swift 3 falls far short of our ideal aim of 3.
